Kathleen Provost - Deputy National Commissioner - Development Minimize

Kathleen A. Provost, CFRE

Kathleen is born and raised in Montréal. She met her husband when he was volunteering and they both continued to be committed volunteers. When their first born was of age for Beaver, the entire family started to be involved with Scout Canada. Hence for the last 10 years, Kathleen has helped the Summerlea Group (Montréal) and she continued to be involved when they moved to Ottawa in 2006. Kathleen has been a Director of Scout Canada Foundation for 4 years and she also remains involved locally as the Group Commissioner for the 11th Ottawa.

When she is not volunteering for Scouts Canada, Kathleen is a professional fundraiser with over 15 years experience in the not-for-profit sector. Her expertises are in areas of fundraising, management, communications, and marketing.  Kathleen’s hopes to contribute to the team by sharing some of her knowledge on revenue generation and helping in the implementation of innovative projects, national campaigns, as well as key fundraising strategies.

Kathleen fully supports Scouts Canada in its belief that the time is right for us to grow in Canada. Having experience firsthand the benefits of scouting in her life; she hopes to be part of an effort to make this scouting experience available to all Canadians for another century to come.
