Camp Whonnock is modern camp located in a forested, rural setting. The camp managed by Fraser Valley Council

 

Camp Whonnock is located in the Whonnock Area of Maple Ridge, at 27660 Dewdney Trunk Road. The site is approximately 10 acres, and contain the Whonnock Scout Hall, and 7 cabins. It is close to Lake Whonnock and to the BCIT Woodlot, with a network of hiking trails.

 

The camp has a resident Camp Ranger, Andrew Watson.

Step 1: Book one or more of the areas of Camp McLean:

Step 2: Send a Deposit

You have your booking, but it isn't confirmed until we receive your deposit of $150.00. This deposit is refundable up until two months before the start of your booking. We do not return the deposit for a cancellation after that.

Step 3: Enjoy your camping experience.

Please refer to the guidelines below, to help you get the most from your experience at Camp Whonnock.

Step 4: Leave the camp as clean as you found it.

When you have finished your camp, please pick up, pack up and clean up. We have published guidelines to help you leave the camp the way you should have received it. Check with the Camp Range before all of your campers leave. That way, they'll be there to help finish up any over-looked details.

Step 5: Come back again -- and tell your friends what a great time you had!

1) Costs

The cost of Camp Whonnock depends on how long you want to rent it, how many campers, and on where your Group comes from.

Notes:

⁽²⁾ A "Weekend" is from 1800h (6:00 PM) Friday night until 1600h (4:00 PM) Sunday afternoon.
⁽³⁾ A deposit is fully refundable up to 60 days before the date booked. After that date, the deposit is not refunded.
