It's here - the Climate Change Challenge! Here's  a fun way to earn a neat crest, by completing some badges, an energy audit and an awesome on-line energy calculator (called an energy audit calculator).

  • Are You Ready for the Challenge?  The second half of this booklet contains the crest requirements for all the badge updates in the program (Recycling, Home Repair, World Conservation Award, and Troop Specialty suggestion).
    (
    En français.)
  • Scout Energy Audit. As part of the challenge you will need to complete an energy audit.  It sounds complicated, but it really isn't - you'll need a little help from your parents and some cooperation from your family. Get it here in English and French.
  • Online Calculator: will compute the amount of greenhouse gases you saved!  (Click here.)

Here are a number of neat links that help you learn more about the
environment and climate change. Check them out!
