The Pacific Coast Council encompasses the cities of Burnaby, Richmond, Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, the District of North Vancouver, the Sunshine Coast and the Sea to Sky corridor, which includes the communities of Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton. Pacific Coast Council was officially chartered on November 2, 2002, during the B.C. – Yukon Provincial Council's Annual General Meeting and subsequently re-chartered on May 1, 2004 by Scouts Canada.
