Do you want to have the experience of a lifetime? The Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Jamboree 2012 is fun packed, where every day you'll do something new and exciting. From adventurous activities, fun arts and crafts, learning and development games and projects as well as events that run into the night.
During the Jamboree, participants can visit six program zones. These will include activities which will be adventurous, creative and unique. The program is being organised to allow young people to challenge themselves, try new things and make friends!
The dates for this weekend of camping, fun and games at Camp Nor’ Wes, the Provincial Campsite, are June 29 - July 3, 2012.
The event is open to third year Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts and Venturer Scouts. Groups from outside of Newfoundland and Labrador are especially welcome. In addition, we are also extending an invitation to our Guiding Friends. This event is open to Guides, Pathfinders, and Rangers. Each age group will have its own program. Camp Evergreen Provincial Jamboree will provide youth with opportunity and challenges where everyone will experience something new, gain personal achievements and make lots of new friends! This event is open to youth aged 7 - 18.
Camp Fees
All fees include a crest, t-shirt, site fees and entertainment. Participant and Leader fees do not include catering. A $25 deposit is required per person.
Participants $75
Youth will have the opportunity to experience a four day-long action packed program of activities and events throughout the day and night.
Group Leaders $50
Get involved with other adult volunteers supporting young people in Groups on the sub camps watching them participate in the activities. As well as looking after your own Group. Leaders are encouraged to get involved in assisting the smooth running of the Jamboree.
Space is limited to 400, sign up early to not miss out on this great experience.
