The Chief Scout's Award
The highest honour which can be achieved at the Scout level. Applicants must successfully complete six requirements, which include earning the Pathfinder Award, and the required number of challenge badges. If you would like to apply or endorse someone in your troop for this prestigious award, please refer to the application form.

Cascadia Council
All applications must be submitted to your Area Commissioner. Ceremonies are scheduled by the respective Areas.
Fraser Valley Council Ceremony
The Chief Scout's Award Application deadline has passed. Due to the many other events taking place at this time the deadline has been extended to May 5, 2013. Please submit applications to Dianne Sawatzky (diannes1955@gmail.ca<mailto:diannes1955@gmail.ca>).
The Chief Scout's Award Ceremony will be held on June 1, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3345 Robson Drive in Coquitlam.
Pacific Coast Council Ceremony
All applications must be submitted at the BCY Service Centre by May 15, 2013. The Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Ismaili Jamatkhana and Centre, 1150 Gladwin Drive in North Vancouver.
The Queen's Venturer Award
Presented to Venturers who have acquired competence and skills that will be of considerable use to themselves, their company and their community. These Venturers will have also been recognized by the company, the advisor, and Scouts Canada as being worthy of receiving this award. The Award signifies that a Venturer has, in the opinion of those who know the Venturer, both the character and ability to be of significant help to other people.

As of September 1, 1998, the British Columbia Ministry of Education has recognized the hard work, learning and time required in achieving the Chief Scout's Award (UXST 11 - Scout 11) and the Queen's Venturer Award (UXST 12 - Scout 12). Youth who earn either of the above youth program awards.
Medal of the Maple
The Medal of the Maple for Distinguished Youth Service is an award created by the members of the National Youth Committee, designed to honour those youth who have significantly contributed to the Movement and the spirit of Scouting through community service, extraordinary Scouting participation and a solid system of personal values.
