FLEX training course (Fun Leadership Experience)

What: Leadership training for Youth (Cubs) run by Youth ( Venturers/Rovers)

When: June 9, 2012, 9-4:30pm

Who: For Cub aged youth

Cost: $15 per Youth ( snacks included)

Why: To give cubs a chance to improve on their leadership skills while having a blast doing it

Madagascar 2012 - International Development Project of Scouts Canada

This project occurs in August 2012. Location - Ambato Boeni, Madagascar. Projects that the team are working on are: providing fresh water, providing electricity and building a school facility specifically for girls from the area.

An Open Invitation to the 2013 Boy Scouts of America National Scout Jamboree 

The 2013 Boy Scouts of America National Scout Jamboree will be held from July 15 to July 24, 2013. This event will involve some serious high adventure activities including white-water rafting, zip-lining, rappelling, mountain biking, hiking, and more! The Jamboree will be held at the brand new Summit Bechtel Reserve in the wilds of West Virginia.                        
Scouts Canada is now accepting applications for patrols (8 scouts 14 years of age by July 15, 2013, and not yet 21 on July 23, 2013, male and female, with 2 leaders) and for IST.

To apply as a complete patrol, please send a completed Scouts Canada Preliminary Patrol Roster application to intl@scouts.ca

Any IST, patrols with less than 8 scouts, or lone scouts interested in attending the Jamboree are asked to email intl@scouts.ca with the following information: Last Name, First Name, Gender, Mailing Address, Postal Code, Country of Residence, Phone Number, Email Address, Date of Birth (mm/dd/yyyy). Scouts Canada is accepting applications on a first come, first served basis and has a limited number of patrols it can send.

 The deadline for all Canadian Scouts to register with Scouts Canada has been extended to June 1st, 2012.
