JOB VACANCY - COUNCIL TREASURER (Volunteer Position)

White Pine Council is looking to fill the vacancy of Council Treasurer for the 2011-12 Scouting season beginning September 1.  The Council serves a membership of approximately 5500 from Pickering to Napanee to the southern border of Algonquin Park.

Related meetings occur monthly and usually at Camp Samac, Oshawa.

(Sept 20) Revision of Charitable Tax Receipt Request Form

Any Scouting level below Council receiving cash or cheque donations where a charitable tax receipt is being requested, this revised from must be used.  The form also addresses the process by which must be adhered to for a receipt to be issued using the Council's Charitable Tax Number.

(Sept 20) Templated Letter for Group/Section Authoriztion from Council to Open a Bank Account

Recently, some banking institutions have require proof from a senior level of the organization authorizing Groups/Sections to open bank accounts.  This letter is templated in a way that allows for a Group to download and fill in the necessary information and then print.  It should provide the authorization that the banking institution is looking for.
