ABOUT JAMBOREE ON THE AIR/INTERNET:

Each year, over 500,000 members of Scouts and Guides from around the world meet each other over the airwaves. Jamboree-On-The-Air (JOTA) always takes place on the third full weekend in October, commencing at 00.00 local time on Saturday and concludes at 24.00 hours on Sunday.

This year's White Pine Council JOTA camp takes place on the weekend of October 15 -16, 2011 at the Mosport International Race Track (Just north of Bowmanville, Ontario)   Click Here for MAP TO EVENT

Each sub-camp will have it’s own Ham Radio System, under the control of a licensed Ham radio Operator, and Jamboree participants will have plenty of opportunity to spend time on the radio’s and connect with scouts or guides from around the world.
