Camp Wetaskiwin is an 80-acre Cub and Scout Camp located on the outskirts of St.Catharines, and borders
on Short Hills Provincial Park. The camp boasts an in-ground pool, both valley and wooded campsites,
with fresh water streams. There are many trails throughout the woodlands of the facility with a number
of open spaces and clearings for gatherings and events.

The bunkhouse with sleeping for 15 is available for traveling groups, but
younger groups take advantage of the flat maintained campsites surrounded by
trees. Older groups often choose a more remote site in the pines.
Three full kitchens with dining are available for groups wishing to have
central cooking and indoor eating areas. One of these often used by groups
wishing to have an inside sleeping area in winter or poor weather is
Handicap Accessible.
St.Catharines District and Camp Wetaskiwin are famous for their International
Klondike Days winter camp with its lean-tos and sled races, attracting
many groups from Canada and the US. Except for the valleys, the camp is
fully wooded with mature hardwood and softwood trees as well as evergreens.
The Provincial Park boasts excellent cross-country skiing, hundreds of hiking
trails, and unlimited possibilities.
