St.Catharines District and Camp Wetaskiwin are famous for their International Klondike Days winter camp with its lean-tos and sled races, attracting many groups from Canada and the US. Except for the valleys, the camp is fully wooded with mature hardwood and softwood trees as well as evergreens. The Provincial Park boasts excellent cross-country skiing, hundreds of hiking trails, and unlimited possibilities.
