Uniform Information

            When to wear a uniform
Beavers should wear their uniforms to every meeting and most events. The uniform is a way for all Scouts to show their respect for the heritage of the program.

                                          Where to place badges
There has been some confusion on the insignia (badge) placement. This illustration should clarify those questions.

Our Group is the 9th Fort McMurray Scouts,

our Area is the Borealis Frontier,

while our Council is the Northern Lights.

Service stripes will be handed out at the end of the year. The Neckerchief is the scarf that is worn around the neck. This scarf should be laid out on a flat surface with the point farthest from you. Fold the neckerchief evenly leaving just a small point at the end. Once it is placed around the Scout's neck with the triangular part on top, the ends should be crossed and the woggle affixed or the ends may be tied in a square knot if you do not have a woggle.
